We welcome you to Glen Rock Lodge, a place to escape the chaos of the city and relax. Reconnect in one of the Eastern Cape’s best kept secrets, the Baviaans River Valley.

Situated in the heart of the Baviaans River Conservancy, Glen Rock is 35 km from Bedford, far enough from the city to switch off but close enough to the amenities of Bedford. The lodge is a Cape Dutch style home dating back to the 1800s and originally served as a police station to the local community in the days of mounted horseback police. In 2016 the building was restored aesthetically, keeping the old world charm but with all the modern conveniences one would need.
