Gather under the great oak at historic Lynedoch Farm, where history comes alive against the backdrop of this beautiful Cape homestead. Join Basil Mills, celebrated Eastern Cape historian and storyteller, for Echoes of the Eastern Cape — an engaging talk exploring the intertwined past of English settlers, Boer farmers, and Xhosa communities.
Talks will be held:
Friday 31 October: 16:00
Saturday 1 November: 10:00 & 14:00
Sunday 2 November: 12:00
Enjoy the tranquil farm setting with a glass of champagne or a cold beer in hand and indulge in freshly made vetkoek. Visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on and relax under the trees. Refreshments, as well as wool and mohair products, will be on sale.
